I always believed that the real Artist must have something to express, then show it to the audience as artworks, never believing of imitating still objects unless it has connected to his vision.
I started building my personality as an artist early 90s, reading a lot, joining workshops, participating in exhibitions and constantly training to have my own techniques, trying to strength every week point I have.
A few years ago, after getting my Master’s degree in Environmental arts, I did not feel comfortable with the way of the spectator’s reactions (in Iraq). Most of the Iraqi spectators try to watch the contemporary artwork as symbolic shapes need to be analyzed, they don’t feel the beauty of colors or the brush strokes. The Iraqi spectators are dealing with artwork as a map with elements that need to figure out to get the idea, so they always wanted the artist to track with them every detail, interpreting the shapes to words, that makes me think of showing audiences artworks with absolute spaces full of colors and dynamic passionate brush strokes.
To aware the spectator not to try to configure what secret behind those shapes, but to enjoy watching non- figurative artworks, to sense the beauty on the surface and try to get an energy from it, just like listening to classical music, it’s a visual dialogue will be created between the viewer and the artwork.
