Ramón Felipe Borges is an artist who explores art following his intuition, feelings, and experiences early in life. He learned to appreciate that creativity is as much about to affect as it is about cognition.
Though an artist by vocation, he became an engineer by profession. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, a Master's Degree from Cornell University, and subsequently, a Ph.D. from Penn State University, teaching engineering for two decades until retiring in 2005.
However, he never lost perspective of his vocation for art and will to create.
Employing the language of art and poetry (creating visual representations of poems) in a series of paintings, Borges examines the mythology and allegories defining our identity, character, and experiences in life.
A provocative oeuvre for art lovers to enjoy in a wide variety of design options of Borges's art turned into fashion.
