Lesa Steele is a Contemporary Abstract Expressionist artist with decades of professional creative experience. Born and raised in beautiful Southern California, close to the artistic community of Laguna Beach, she began painting at the age of three. Lesa's early experience and exposure to this vibrant community profoundly influenced her artistic style, which is often compared to that of Georgia O'Keeffe. Lesa graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. She has sold hundreds of artworks, with her pieces held in private collections primarily across Southern California. Her work has also been commissioned extensively including a notable 40+ piece collection. Beyond painting, Lesa has been a professional Interior Desiger, and a professional Needlework Designer and worked in many creative allied positions. Her designs have been featured in many magazines and hardcopy books selling in Hobby Lobby, Michaels and Walmart. Lesas' art is collected globally.
