Interior designer by profession, I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts
(Environmental / Interior Design) from Pratt Institute, New York, in 1973.
Impassioned by a watercolour exhibition by Ming Ma in Montreal in 1992, and drawn to the vibrancy of his work I studied with him from 1993 - 1997.
Mix that with extensive travels in Mexico and its magical light and you can see the influences in my palette to this day.
Always exploring new techniques, whether in watercolour and print making or experimenting in acrylics, my work is a joyful expression of my passion.
I revel in using bold colour saturation and strong forms in landscape and architecture. Above all, I try to stay true to myself.
I challenge myself with every painting.
I reside in New Brunswick. A member of the Woodstock Art Club and the Fredericton Society of Artists, my work can be seen at Galerie Acanthus Gallery in Grand Falls, The Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery in Florenceville-Bristol and Creek Village Gallery & Café in Woodstock where I am the Gallery Manager.
