PATTI ALLEN AKESSON
I developed into an artist as the separate “lives” of dance and art emerged
together. I began at an early age as a dancer, being submerged completely
in movement, mental and visual strength, as well as conveying a specific
presence.
I have continued on as an exhibiting artist and teaching in the school
system. My work has been in numerous shows and represented by several
galleries throughout the years.
After 30 years of teaching in the school system - I have opened CANYON
ARTS STUDIO in the hopes of continuing to educate and inspire others to
create art.
